Heat treatment specifications for 2A12 aluminum tubes
Homogenization annealing: heating at 480-495℃; keeping warm for 12-14h; furnace cooling.
Full annealing: heating at 390-430℃; keeping warm for 30-120min; furnace cooling to 300℃, air cooling.
Rapid annealing: heating at 350-370℃; keeping warm for 30-120min; air cooling.
Quenching and aging: quenching at 495-505℃, water cooling; artificial aging at 185-195℃, 6-12h, air cooling; natural aging: room temperature for 96h.
