2007 aluminum alloy is a high copper content alloy (3.3%-5.0%) known for its excellent machinability and threading performance, especially suitable for high-speed automatic lathes. It contains magnesium and lead to enhance processing performance and is suitable for manufacturing machine parts, bolts and rivets. Compared to EN AW-2011, it is harder and suitable for high-speed cutting tasks, but has poor corrosion resistance and is not suitable for welding.
